Leh hoteliers/guesthouse owners to strictly follow guidelines issued by District Admn

Leh, June 08: The District Administration officials and Tourism Department, Leh inspected 12 hotels in Leh town to ensure that the Covid-19 SOPs issued by it are strictly adhered to by the hoteliers/guest house owners.
In the new SOPs, the District Administration has directed hotels/guest houses to operate their dine-in facilities with a 30% seating capacity for their in-house guests. The SOPs encourage room services in hotels/guesthouses. As per the previous order issued by District Administration, hotels/guest houses in the district should operate with 50% occupancy.
The District Administration appealed to the hoteliers/guest house owners to strictly adhere to the new SOPs and update the online surveillance form on a timely basis as directed by the District Administration for proper Covid-19 surveillance in the district. The hoteliers/guest house owners must fill the online form shared by the District Administration with the required information about the guests.
