Anantnag, june 01: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Tulkhun bijbhera area of Anantnag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday morning.
Reports reaching Media said a joint team of 01RR and J&K police cordoned off Tulkhun bijbhera area of Anantnag and conducted house to house searches in the area.
A police officer told media that search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were going on in the area when last reports came in.
