Leh, July 24: More than 30300 applications have been received by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for Leh and Kargil centers for the 729 posts of Ladakh. Many candidates have applied for multiple levels of posts as different exam is being conducted for the three levels of posts i.e. Matriculation Level, Higher Secondary Level and Graduate Level. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) for filling these vacancies is scheduled to be held from August 1 to August 5.
The SSC has provided links to the candidates to know the status of their candidature and download Admit Cards. A candidate who has applied for all the three levels have to appear separately for each level of exam with the relevant admit card.
The SSC has made allocation of venues of CBE to the candidates considering their preference and availability of computer nodes at the various venues. Priority has been given to the options exercised by Person with Disabilities (PWD) Candidates and Women Candidates. Six (06) venues have been established by SSC in Ladakh for the conduct of this examination where CBE of more than 6900 applicants of the three levels of exams would be appearing for the exams. The remaining applicants have been allotted centers at Jammu and Srinagar.
The candidates have been advised to proceed to their examination venues well in advance.
